COVID-19 UPDATE

Bristol Charities continues to operate during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Although our Head Office is shut and most of our Head Office staff are working from home, you can contact us by email or by phone on our Head Office phone number 0117 930 0301. We continue to run our Almshouses and Extra Care scheme, with staff on site. Our Grants Programme is running, please keep checking our website for details of when we are accepting applications for Grants. Although our Community Development for Older People Projects remain on hold for now, we hope to start activities again soon when it is safe to do so.

You recently donated £120 to my mother, who has a damaged spine and neck; making sleeping very painful.

I got a memory foam from Bristol Bed Maker with other funds to make up the shortfall. It is wonderful!!! Thank you so much it really makes a difference!

Registering as a Sponsor

COVID-19 UPDATE:

PLEASE NOTE: Due to covid-19 delays, furniture items can have a lead time of up to 4 weeks.

With regards to white goods - we are unable to guarantee you will receive the same model you may have picked from the white goods catalogue but you will receive an item with the same specification or an upgrade for the same price. If you wish to receive the model picked from the catalogue, there may be a lead time of 8 -14 weeks.

All referral agencies and sponsors are asked to complete a simple registration process in order to use our new online grant application form. Please use the link below to register:

Access the Sponsor Registration Portal

Once you have accessed the sponsor registration portal using the link above, Please click the "Apply" button where you will be prompted to confirm your e-mail address, create a password and complete a short sponsor registration questionnaire. Once complete, please click the review and submit button and this will be sent to us for approval.

Once we have approved your registration, you will receive an email to confirm this, your sponsor registration number and a link to access the online application portal. Please click this link and re-register your details using the "apply" button once more. You will only need to re-register once with this form after which you will be able to log in underneath the "retrieve your application" heading on the portal screen and make as many applications as you require.

If you are a sponsor who has already registered and wish to make subsequent applications, please either refer to your sponsor approval e-mail or click the link above and enter your e-mail address and password under the "retrieve your application" heading.

Once the application is submitted, we will review it and let the applicant know directly if they have been successful or not.

  • Please, where possible, register as an approved sponsor from a professional and verified work email
  • Try to be specific and realistic when detailing the items requested on the application form, otherwise this may delay in the processing of your application
  • We would strongly advise you and your applicant take a look at the catalogues provided in the "how to apply" section so you can select the items needed
