Extra Care Housing Scheme Manager (Bristol Area)
Are you a dynamic and experienced housing professional with experience of Extra Care Housing? Do you want to work with older people, to help develop and establish high quality housing services in a brand new Extra care Housing scheme?
Hours F/T: 35 hours per week (12 month fixed term contract)
Bristol Charities is a provider of high quality housing services for older people. We are looking for a motivated and proactive Extra care Housing Scheme Manager to help us to develop, deliver and establish a high quality, robust housing management service in our brand new, 60 unit Extra care Housing Scheme in Stockwood.
In the role you will work to develop first class, customer focused housing management services for our residents as well as help to develop and deliver management and monitoring systems for building and estate management functions. You will be part of a team helping to establish excellent working methods and relationships with our on-site care contractor to to assist residents in maintaining independent lives.
We need to you to help lay foundations for the future of the Housing management service so an excellent working knowledge of this area as well as experience of assisting in developing services is key. You’ll have to be flexible and proactive in your attitude whilst always being responsive to resident needs. You’ll need to work with minimal supervision, possess top class problem solving and negotiation skills and have the interpersonal skills to establish ongoing trusting relationships with residents, colleagues and stakeholders.
Development is a key word for this role as this is a brand new building. The right candidate will be key in assisting the management team to develop all areas of the service as well as establishing enduring links with the local community for the benefit of everyone.
Excellent written and verbal communication, numeracy and IT skills are a must and your commitment to a team ethic and to upholding the Values of the organisation are vital.
