Notes on the constituent charities

Scheme dated 26 April 1973
The 1973 Charity Commission scheme allowed the following grant giving charities to be “pooled.” They were not merged, although this was how they were treated in practice.

Groups A and B
Group A recipients had to live within 10 miles of City Centre
Group B had no such restriction.
