We at SSAFA are so grateful for your continuing support. We seem to be seeing more and more young veterans (if that's not a contradiction) who have been badly affected by their military service overseas.

Henbury Centre (Henbury)

Machin Road, off Crow Lane, Henbury, Bristol, BS10 8BE

The Henbury Centre will be the base for the Henbury and Brentry LinkAge Hub. LinkAge works with people over 55 and local communities to facilitate inspiring social activities that enrich lives, reduce isolation and loneliness and promote active participation.

Bristol Charities had been running a successful day service at the centre in Henbury, so when we decided to relocate the service to our brand new purpose-built centre in Brentry, it seemed an ideal opportunity to partner with LinkAge to deliver a different kind of activity at Henbury that would involve and engage older people from the local community.

Other Groups that use Henbury Centre

Religious Study Group - weekly Bible study session

Henbury Neighborhood Partnership - quarterly meetings
